The festivities are set to culminate on October 12 with a free concert by Alejandro Fernández at Plaza del Ángel to close FICUU 2026. To manage expected crowds and facilitate stage setup, the Municipal Government of Chihuahua has implemented security measures, checkpoints, and road closures in the Historic Center perimeter starting at 10:00 a.m. Affected streets include Antonio Rosales, Juan Aldama, Juárez, Venustiano Carranza, Vicente Guerrero, Séptima, and 13, with the Bowí public transport system undergoing route diversions.

Simultaneously, the FICH and the Festival de Arte Nuevo (FAN) have attracted over 5,000 attendees. Regional artisans from Mata Ortiz and the Sierra Tarahumara also continue to gain recognition through various national and local exhibitions.
