Since May 2026 Romania has marked the 50‑year anniversary of Nadia Comăneci’s perfect‑10 with a nationwide programme of cultural, sporting and educational events. On 29 July, while filming a documentary with director Tudor Giurgiu at the Lia Manoliu National Sports Complex in Bucharest, she funded two new air‑conditioning units for the venue, improving training conditions for young gymnasts. On 30 July 2026, the legend traveled to Montreal, the site of her historic 1976 perfect‑10, to continue the anniversary tour.
