Building on this momentum, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Mohamed Farid Saleh, stated that more than 3,000 Chinese enterprises are currently operating in Egypt. Saleh noted that Chinese companies have introduced new industries, such as fiberglass, to the country. Egypt is now seeking to expand commercial cooperation further into sectors including seawater desalination, artificial intelligence, and digital services. The Egyptian government aims to address business environment challenges to support continued investment and project implementation.
