During construction between Escuadrón 20 and Cointzio Avenues, officials discovered unidentified infrastructure and pipes that had lacked maintenance for over 20 years.

Environmental mitigation efforts remain a priority. The Secretariat of Communications and Public Works (SCOP) is reforesting 72 hectares across 51 kilometers of the city's second peripheral ring with over 36,000 endemic trees, such as pine, ash, mesquite, and oak. Regarding the Morebús project, Sedum is advancing plans to replant rescued jacaranda trees in urban corridors following treatment in municipal nurseries.

Wildlife protection continues through the monitoring of nests and burrows in the Tres Puentes zone. Biologists have successfully rescued and relocated 664 animals, including birds, reptiles, and small mammals, to protected areas like Cerro del Águila.
