The film marks the first official partnership between Sony Music Vision and Queen’s catalog. The 4K digital restoration was carried out by the film lab of the National Film Institute Hungary (NFI), with post-production by Sir Peter Jackson’s Park Road facility in New Zealand. In August, a 4K trailer for the film was released, and details emerged regarding an international rollout including Mexico. To celebrate the release, an exclusive screening event is scheduled for 3 October at London’s Roundhouse, featuring a giant LED screen, surround sound, synchronized lighting, and original memorabilia.
