In the Žilina region, SNS MP Adam Lučanský withdrew his candidacy to support Smer-SD’s Igor Choma to avoid fragmentation. In Košice, Hlas-SD candidate Igor Šimko secured support from Republika, Smer-SD, and SNS. Following the regional elections, preliminary results indicate setbacks for the ruling coalition. While Smer and Hlas retained some governorships, they failed to expand influence. In Bratislava, incumbent Matúš Vallo secured a decisive victory with approximately 64% of the vote, defeating the government-backed Jozef Ráž.
