Central European election polling

In late July 2026 polls in Slovakia showed the governing Smer‑SD party leading the race for the upcoming parliamentary election, with 19.6 % of decided voters and a projected 35 seats, while the new Progressive Slovakia party trailed closely at 18.1 % and an estimated 32 seats. Prime Minister Robert Fico recorded the highest personal trust among party leaders.

A few days later, separate surveys in Slovenia and Serbia revealed shifting voter dynamics. In Slovenia, support for Prime Minister Janez Janša’s government fell to 36.8 %, and the Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS) would capture about 22.9 % of the vote, staying ahead of the Freedom Movement (20.5 %). In Serbia, a face‑to‑face poll indicated strong backing for the student‑run Studentska lista (44.9 %) and lower support for the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (35.7 %). Both polls highlighted low public confidence in established parties across the region.
