Backed by approximately 15.756 million euros, the program will subsidize 90% of payroll and insurance costs for 12 months, with expected monthly gross salaries up to 1,300 euros. To combat demographic decline, the government is expanding resettlement efforts through the Demographic Development Program. Following a pilot in Evros, the program now covers ten regional units, including Drama, Kozani, Ioannina, Florina, Kilkis, Serres, Pella, Kastoria, Grevena, and Thesprotia. It also includes specific municipalities in Epirus such as Konitsa, Zagori, and Metsovo.
