Overview

This initiative targets students with contracts signed up to 2017 who were in the amortization phase as of 4 May 2026. The program is available to both compliant and delinquent borrowers, including those listed in credit protection agencies. Renegotiations must be conducted through Banco do Brasil or Caixa Econômica Federal. Once an agreement is formalized and a down payment is made, the names of students and their guarantors are removed from credit registries. Students with contracts signed on or after 1 January 2018, or those in the financing use or grace periods, are ineligible for this specific round.
