A key feature is a revenue-sharing shift that caps platform commissions at 8% for passenger services.

The proposal to classify drivers as MSMEs remains highly contentious. The Indonesian Transport Workers Union (SPAI) rejects the designation, arguing that the relationship meets the legal criteria for employment under Law Number 13 of 2003 due to platform control via algorithms. Meanwhile, the KAJOL Indonesia community has urged the government to consider total daily income rather than just per-order rates, noting that excessively high tariffs could reduce customer demand and lower overall take-home pay.
