This upcoming round aims to review controversial legislation to align it with international human rights standards, including the Law Against Hate, laws regarding NGO control, anti-terrorism legislation, and the Simón Bolívar law.

Figuera has addressed calls for immediate elections, noting that the dialogue process with the Chavismo movement, which began on August 1, is complex and requires time to establish necessary guarantees.
