Looking toward international diplomacy, Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to address the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in late September. Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai stated that Shah will advocate for “climate justice,” specifically calling for compensation through the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage.
