Authorities opened investigations and ordered autopsies. The Hellenic Red Cross issued water‑safety guidelines on 17 July and announced a World Drowning Prevention Day event for 25 July.

Later in the month, emergency crews rescued a woman who lost consciousness while swimming at Sithonia, Chalkidiki on 22 July, while a 76‑year‑old woman drowned at Akraata beach on 20 July. On 27 July, a 76‑year‑old woman was pulled dead at Potidaia beach, Chalkidiki, and an 80‑year‑old woman died after a drowning incident in Alikana, Zakynthos. Both incidents involved the Central Emergency Rescue Service (EKAB) and resulted in forensic autopsies. Rescue officials noted that these were the second deaths recorded since the summer rescue period began on 1 June, underscoring continued safety concerns for elderly swimmers and children.
